How PDF processing works
The selected document is read by JavaScript in your current browser tab. We self-host the PDF libraries; browsers download those library files and page assets from our server, but document bytes are not transmitted back by these tools. Generated output exists in browser memory until downloaded or the tab is closed. Large inputs or malformed content can fail; processing is best-effort, not guaranteed. This phase has no server document-processing pipeline.
