How Merge PDFs and Add Page Numbers works

Merge multiple PDFs, then apply continuous page numbering to the combined document.

    Steps

Select the input files, choose settings, select “Process on my device” and review the result before downloading or sharing it.

    What to expect

Output depends on the original PDF structure and capabilities of PDF.js and pdf-lib. Some operations create a ZIP containing several resulting files. Tools that rasterize pages remove selectable text, links, forms and signatures; text extraction does not recognize text inside images.

    Privacy and limits

Documents remain in your browser while processing. Tools currently limit file sizes, pages and batch counts to protect device memory. No external document-processing API or registration is required.

    Questions

    Does this upload documents?

No. This tool processes files inside the current browser tab.

Does it preserve signatures and form fields?

Not necessarily. PDF editing and raster conversion can invalidate or remove signatures and forms; always examine the output.
